Historical temples..

Many observations emphasize in village unity. Typically, Rentapalla village recognizes a deity deemed the village protester or protectress, and villagers unite in regular worship of this deity called “ Maha Lakshmi “ .  “Maha Lakshmi” tree at the center of the village  considered essential to village prosperity..

Villagers were cooperated and funded in constructing temples and shrines important to the Rentapalla village as a whole for the temples – Lord Shiva Temple.

Village also has – 1 mosque for muslims and 5 churches for Christians..

 

The Village’s Empty tower ( Gaali Gopuram ) at lord shiva temple is the one of the top five empty towers in Andra Pradesh as per the known sources. It was made with the materials like sand, lime stone, cement..etc.. and was funded  by the villagers as a whole in the 19th century.

Village has Sree Anjaneya Swamy Temple at the North-West border of the village – so called as “Paati gattu anjaneya swamy” – Villagers feel secure from natural threats of village by treating “Sree Anjaneya Swamy” as a protester of the village.
